The multipurpose pumpkin
The traditional pumpkin cleaning~seed removal~
Roasted pumpkin seeds~

Perhaps a scary Halloween Party spookiness~
~a common grossout~
place the seeds with the inner meat of the pumpkin either in a bowl or kept in the pumpkin
~have a person (eyes shut of course) describe what it feels like when they submerge their hands into the squiry mushiness!!!!
-or, tell the person they are placing their hands into a worm infested compost bin!!!!!!
Pumpkin Bowl
~after cleaning out the pumpkin, use it as a harvest party bowl!!!!!!!!!
~place a tub of caramel inside the cleared pumpkin-
-place apples, bananas, other desired fruits on leaves around the pumpkin dip centerpiece and dip them fondue style
~for more flare, use harvest picks along the rim and elsewhere with pieces of fruits attached for instant dipping (warning:double dipping may occur)
Other dips can be used as well as various pumpkins and even hollowed gourds-
If using a creamy white dip, add some red or black food coloring
orange and lighter reds can be used to avoid a squemish factor
Children can help decorate the bowl, using non-toxic paints, appliques and even spooky lights and creepy sounds (LED ghosts, bats etc can be found at various stores for minimal prices)
