Pumpkin, my pumpkin
The multipurpose pumpkin
The traditional pumpkin cleaning~seed removal~
Roasted pumpkin seeds~
Try:
garlic
~or~
Honey roasting via honey mustard pasting!!!!!! yummmmmmmmmmmy!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps a scary Halloween Party spookiness~
~a common grossout~
place the seeds with the inner meat of the pumpkin either in a bowl or kept in the pumpkin
~have a person (eyes shut of course) describe what it feels like when they submerge their hands into the squiry mushiness!!!!
-or, tell the person they are placing their hands into a worm infested compost bin!!!!!!
Pumpkin Bowl
~after cleaning out the pumpkin, use it as a harvest party bowl!!!!!!!!!
~place a tub of caramel inside the cleared pumpkin-
-place apples, bananas, other desired fruits on leaves around the pumpkin dip centerpiece and dip them fondue style
~for more flare, use harvest picks along the rim and elsewhere with pieces of fruits attached for instant dipping (warning:double dipping may occur)
Other dips can be used as well as various pumpkins and even hollowed gourds-
If using a creamy white dip, add some red or black food coloring
orange and lighter reds can be used to avoid a squemish factor
Children can help decorate the bowl, using non-toxic paints, appliques and even spooky lights and creepy sounds (LED ghosts, bats etc can be found at various stores for minimal prices)

Remove the Negative not the candle
I have anticipated joining The Domestic Witch Blog network. I believe in positive wiccan spirituality and hope to present positive ways of wiccan spellcasting to ensure the health and positive energy among us-our families-companians-familiars and earthen lifeforms.
I am presenting the first belief to encourage positive spellwork and hope that this aids in relieving negarive consequences to ourselves and others. Spellcasting can find an effect to others that are unaware and unsuspecting of the powerful processes and results from those they do not know.
I do not want unaware persons feeling effects of my beliefs and actions and take care to respect those around us.
It is a shared belief that the black candle, when utilized in a spell, represents darkness and ill boding. This may be applicable to some spellsayers, yet, the black candle can be portrayed as an integral part of positive candlemastery.
Our world is full of negative energies and positive spiritual essences, Spell casting needs to include the removal of unwanted negative entities during candle spellworks.
Regardless of the aspirations, I am presenting the essentials tools to successful spellwork.
Control Candles ~ 3
White -- cleansing-- necessary for the negativity being cast off--
Black-- burn off negativity (which is always present yet ignored due to fear of this imniprescent energy-the blackness also provide a void placement-ready to provide optimun spellcasting)
White-- bring purity and safety, for self, for others, for the environmental elements surrounding our energies
The candles should be the same size ~ burned simultaneously ~ the major spell candles should be lit after the 3 control candles have burned 1/4 and completed their necessary duration prior, simultaneously, or shortly after (if ending after the three integral candles are spent- be warned that the protection of the positive energies may be diminished.
Additional white candles, for other purposes should be used as the control 2 are just that, control tools.
I recommend that the spell, following the expelling of the candles, is not complete until all parts are bound together and placed properly.
All wax leavings -- if there are any, along with materials that were in contact and possibly immersed with the elements used, be graciously planted in a field-garden or elsewhere within the earth.
I can provide alternative candle methods if persons wish to alterate candle spells
Scents, incense & oils , other elements can be placed in various positions.
Changes can accomodate the abscense of specific and designated candles and/or alternate spell instruments
Salt is a common purification tool, yet, the blank slate provided by the black candle will become void (no pun intended)
